1. In the stories where a genie appears and gives ONLY three wishes, why don't they ask for 100 more wishes as the first wish?

Now, if you think about them the same time, will they start choking too? then with every person thinking of somebody else, won't the world be full of people coughing and thinking and then thinking and couging and coughing some more and........
